The Coast of Mendocino is within easy access from
Willits and is an enjoyable day trip. Take Hwy 20 West from Willits to Hwy 1.
This Is about a 40 minute ride and much of it is thru Jackson State Park.There
are lots of places to stop and take pictures or even hike if you wish. Please
ask about about hiking or horseback riding along this route.
Mendocino -
A Trip to Northern California would not
be complete without a stop in quaint and rustic Mendocino. This historic
town, which sits on rugged bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean, features
dozens of shops, art galleries and is host to several special events. |
