Two Festivals, One Legendary Venue: Black Oak Ranch Awaits
Where Music Meets the Oaks: Dead on the Creek & 10 Mile Creek at Black Oak Ranch

If you're looking for an unforgettable summer getaway in Mendocino County, two iconic music festivals are returning to Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville this June. Nesteled among the oaks, meadows and seasonal creek, Black Oak Ranch has been a gathering place for music, community and outdoor adventure for decades.
Dead on the Creek
June 11-14, 2026
Celebrating its 20th annicersary, Dead on the Creek brings together fans of the Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia, and jam-band culture for four days of live music, camping, art, yoga, and community. The festival offers an intimate atmosphere where music lovers can dance beneath the stars, swim in the creek and enjoy the natural beauty of Northern California. https://www.deadonthecreek.net
Ten Mile Creek Revival
June 26-28, 2026
Just two weeks later, Black Oak Ranch transforms again for Ten Mile Creek Revival, a family-friendly music festival that continues the spirit and tradition of the beloved Kate Wolf Music Festival. The weekend features roots, folk, bluegrass, Americana, and world music alongside the creek, local food vendors, artisan booths, workshops, and activities for all ages. While attending either festival, take time to explore the many attractions that make Inland Mendocino County special. Discover the historic town of Willits, ride the famous Skunk Train (they've added railcoasters!!!). Hike among the towering redwoods, enjoy local restaurants and breweries, or simply relax and take in the slower pace of life that defines this part of Northern California.
